What is Chartula?

When selling a car, it needs to bought at the right price, tidied it up, valeted, getting some great shots and writing the copy… post for sale, then you wait for the enquires to roll in!

When the enquiries come in, so do some frustrations. Like finding answers to questions like; “When was the cambelt done last?”, “Has the torque converter been serviced?”, “Can I see proof of the most recent 3 services?”. Some send it out or put photos online with zero editing. Others who are a little more savvy, know they need to atleast cover personal details of their own or past owners (because now you hold this ‘data’ according to GDPR Rules, you are the data owner, so – liable for breach), well done Bonhams and Sotherbys to blanking out past owner data!

Some currently take a black marker and scribble all over the documents hiding personal informtion! Others, will do this with a piece of paper! Some will even use the design team to put little black boxes over names, addresses and numbers before uploading the documents… either way you look at it, its a pain in the ass, until now.
